  • There are 98 households and 325 people, all of whom are Hui people.

Xiying Mosque in Yuxi (玉溪西营清真寺)

  • Location: Xiying Village, Daying Township, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province
  • The Xiying Mosque was first built in 1697. It now covers an area of ​​3.5 acres, with a main hall area of ​​300 square meters.
  • It maintains the original architectural style. There are 30 imams, 2 manlas, and 13 school directors in the mosque. There are 120 households and 600 people in this mosque, all of whom are Hui people.

Yuxi Dongying Mosque (玉溪东营清真寺)

  • Address: Dongying Village, Daying Street Town, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province
  • The mosque was built around 1875-1908. The prayer hall was expanded in 1983, and the kitchen and wing rooms were newly built in 1987.
  • The current prayer hall has a construction area of ​​250 square meters. It is a traditional Chinese thatched roof building.
  • The total construction area of ​​the mosque is more than 1,300 square meters. There is a handwritten copy of the Koran in the collection.
  • There are 188 households of believers in this neighborhood, more than 840 people, all of whom are Hui people.

Panxi Beimen Mosque, Huaning County (华宁县盘溪北门清真寺)

  • Location: Panxi Town, Huaning County, Yunnan Province
  • The Beimen Mosque was first built in 1856 and the prayer hall was rebuilt in 1886.  It now covers an area of ​​5.3 acres and a total construction area of ​​2,761 square meters.
  • The main building hall has a construction area of ​​629 square meters and can accommodate more than 500 people for worship at the same time. The building style is Chinese palace style.
  • There are 1,108 households of believers in this area, with a total of 4,055 people, all of whom are Hui people. The mosque has a collection of 4 woodcut versions of the Quran.

Bafangshu Mosque in Huaning County (华宁县八方树清真寺)

  • Location: Panxi Town, Huaning County, Yunnan Province
  • The construction of Bafangshu Mosque officially started on July 12, 1992, and the main hall was completed on February 21, 1993.
  • The main hall of the mosque has been completed, which adopts the architectural style of a combination of Chinese and Arabic.
  • The main hall covers an area of ​​325 square meters. Together with other buildings that have not yet been completed, the total construction area will reach more than 2,400 square meters.
  • The inhabitants of this mosque are all Hui people, belonging to the Gedi group. There are 8 copies of the Arabic version of the Quran in the mosque.

  • Location: Xincheng Township, Huaning County, Yunnan Province
  • The mosque was first built in 1938, with a total construction area of ​​about 1,000 square meters.
  • The main hall is an antique-style multi-story building with an area of ​​119 square meters. The front part has two floors and also serves as a “bangke” building.
  • The total construction area of ​​the mosque is 135 square meters. There are 52 households and 256 people in this neighborhood, who belong to the Hui nationality.

Tonghai County Mosque (通海县城清真寺)

  • Tonghai County Mosque has an Arabic dome on the top of the temple building. The main hall has a building area of ​​100 square meters and the entire temple has a building area of ​​1,425 square meters.

Najiaying Mosque in Tonghai County (通海县纳家营清真寺)

  • The mosque was built in 1662-1722. The mosque now covers an area of ​​9 mu, consisting of a prayer hall, a bunk building, a teaching building, a wing room, a bathroom and other parts.

Xiaohui Village Mosque in Tonghai County (通海县小回村清真寺)

  • The mosque currently has 5 main halls, 6 classrooms, 3 imam rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and other buildings, as well as 3 wells with clear and sweet water.
  • There are 210 households and 1,204 people in this area, 30 imams and 5 school directors.

Dahui Village Mosque in Tonghai County (通海县小回村清真寺)

Xiazuosuo Mosque in Chengjiang County(澄江县下左所清真寺)

  • Location: Zuosuo Township, Chengjiang County, Yunnan Province
  • The mosque is also known as Jingsheng Hall. Since 1982, Ma Yunfang’s “My Teacher’s Platform” has accepted students to preach the scriptures, and five classes of students have graduated, a total of 12 people.

Eshan County Wenming Mosque (峨山县文明清真寺)

  • Location: Wenming Township, Eshan County, Yunnan Province
  • The mosque was first built in 1895, and the prayer hall was expanded due to the increase in population. It was destroyed by a strong earthquake on January 5, 1970, and rebuilt on the original site in 1975.
  • The current total population is 1,751 (1993), including 9 school directors, 6 imams, 54 male manlas, and 26 female manlas, all of whom are Gedimu. Most of the believers are engaged in business, and their activities are as far as Southeast Asia. There are still more than a hundred people living in Thailand.
