Xundian Hui Yi Autonomous County (Xundian County) is located in the northeast of Yunnan Province. It is the key point of northeastern Yunnan, so the traffic is relatively convenient. The county has one sub-district office, nine towns and four townships, with a permanent population of 457000 (2010). There are 16 nationalities including Han, Hui, Yi and Miao, and the minority population is 110000, accounting for 21.8% of total population.
