Jiangcheng Hani and Yi Autonomous County (referred to as Jiangcheng County) is a county under the jurisdiction of Pu’er City, Yunnan Province. Because it is surrounded by three rivers, namely, Lixianjiang River, Manlaojiang River, Mengyejiang River. Therefore, it is known as Jiangcheng. Located in the southern part of Yunnan Province, Jiangcheng County is bordered by Vietnam and Laos. The border line is 183 kilometers long. It is the only county in Yunnan Province that borders Laos and Vietnam.

• Long History: Before 109 BC, the present Jiangcheng County was the southern boundary of the ancient Dai Country “Mengdaguang(勐达光)”(Ailao Country in Chinese).
