Geographic Location
Niru Village is located in Luoji Township (洛吉乡), Shangri-La City, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It lies in the northeastern part of Shangri-La and is one of the core areas of the “Three Parallel Rivers” World Natural Heritage Site. Surrounded by mountains, Niru Village has an average altitude of approximately 3,000 meters and belongs to a high-altitude cold mountainous region.
