You’ll begin your journey to the diverse and captivating province of Yunnan from the capital city, Kunming. Upon arrival at the Kunming International Airport, your local guide will meet you, and then drive to visit the Green Lake. After that, drive to Kunming Spring City Golf & Lake Resort for overnight.

Transfer to Kunming City and have lunch in Yakou Laozhai Restaurant (Dianchi Road) (丫口老寨餐厅/滇池路店) for Yunnan ethnic style.

I am glad that I participate in this 5 Days Kunming Spring City Golf Course and Lake Resort Tour. The accommodation at the Wenhui Hotel is wonderful, rooms are comfortable and services are excellent. The hotel’s location is also a plus, as it provides easy access to the scenic areas and golf course. Views are stunning. The tour guide on this trip also deserves praise for their expertise and professionalism. And the most important, Kunming cuisine is very delicious, don’t miss it.
One of the highlights of this tour is Yunnan Ethnic Villages. It is a cultural theme park that features various recreated traditional villages of the different ethnic groups that inhabit the province, including the Yi, Dai, Miao, Bai, and others. Each village displays their unique architectural art, song and dance costumes, cultural customs, religious beliefs, and living customs. It is very interesting.
The quality of the tour was very good. The tour guide was very enthusiastic, the environment of Kunming Spring City Golf & Lakeside Resort was very nice, we could also play golf and stretch our body. We went to see the beautiful scenery of the Stone Forest (the stone milk clock is really excellent), visited the largest Buddhist shrine in Kunming – Yuantong Temple, where there are a lot of people, very lively, went to the flower and bird market, it’s been a long time since we had such a comfortable shopping, really relaxed. On the fourth day, we went to Yunnan Ethnic Village and Xishan Mountain, which should be the special attractions of Kunming, really worth a visit! The meals on this trip were also very generous, and our private guide and driver who picked us up and dropped us off were very enthusiastic and highly recommended to everyone.
This great trip started as a warm reception. I’m exhausted from a ten-hour flight. So when the guide found us quickly and took us to the car, I felt very relieved. Then we visited the local green Lake. It was surrounded by cafes, which allowed us to relax. And we could really use a cup of coffee. We checked into the Lake Resort that night. I was really tired that day and I was glad there wasn’t any noise. In the following days, we have been to various golf courses, experienced golf teaching, farmer experience and other novel activities. Oh yes, the ethnic village is the most impressive to me, the local minority culture atmosphere is very strong, which deeply infected me. Finally, after a fine breakfast, we left this beautiful city. What surprised me most was that we didn’t spend any extra attention on planning our trip. We have a professional guide, including all expenses are also explained by the guide. It’s really friendly for foreign tourists. I’m looking forward to my next trip here.
This was an amazing trip! I have always loved golf and have been looking to improve my skills. So when I found this destination, I was so surprised! I never would have guessed that there was such a professional golf course and such knowledgeable instructors and course design in a small city in the southwestern corner of China. I even hit my first albatross on this trip! Who would have thought! Meanwhile there were many small details that really impressed me. While we tough men were arguing about our golf skills, the professional service staff actually prepared activities for our wives who were just hanging out. My wife has been telling me that the Yangzonghai hike was unforgettable! She said she would come back to Yunnan just for this. Overall, I am very satisfied with this trip.

The hotel at Spring City Golf & Lake Resort was excellent, with great amenities, and our guide was professional. The meals, especially Yunnan ethnic cuisine, were a highlight.In addition, the tour provided a deep dive into the rich culture of Kunming, where I learned about the customs and traditions of the 26 ethnic minorities at the Yunnan Ethnic Village. These cultures were fascinating and awe-inspiring.
