Linxiang District Dining
At the present time, population mobility is high and the diet is influenced by the surrounding areas and other regions, but there are still some foods that retain their original characteristics and pass on from generation to generation. Take Bulang as example, Bulang ethnic group is an indigenous people with a long history and unique diet culture in Lincang.
What to Eat
1. Package to Burn Fish(包烧鲜鱼)
It is a delicious ethnic cuisine with ethnic characteristic of Bulang. With fresh fish as the main material, fill the condiment into the belly of the fish and apply a little salt on the fish, then wrap with fresh banana leaves and tie with bamboo tube, finally bury under charcoal fire until the fish is cooked.
2. Pebble Fish Soup(卵石鲜鱼汤)
It is another ethnic delicacy of the Bulang ethnic group. In the absence of a cooker, Bulang people use banana leaves instead of an iron pot, put in water and fresh fish, and throw the red-hot pebbles. The soup does not use any other seasonings except salt.
3. Rice Noddle(米线)
Rice noodle is one of the most popular traditional foods of Lincang people. Lincang rice noddle has a variety of ways to eat, chicken rice noddle, Halogen rice noddle(卤子米线), pea powder rice noddle, Sapie rice Noddle(撒撇米线) and so no. No matter which way to eat, as long as you come to Lincang, you must taste rice noddle.
4. Tea-tasting(品茶)
As "the tea warehouse", Lincang is one of the first major regions to discover and use tea, the world famous hometown of black tea, and the largest production base of Pu'er tea and Dianhong black tea.
