Xiaowan Town is rich in natural resources, and the cash crops mainly include tea, walnut, pepper, apple, persimmon, jujube, etc. There is a ancient tea tree for more than 3200 years at Xiangzhuqing of Jinxiu Village(锦绣村香竹箐), known as "the ancestor of tea tree" and "the king of tea". You can buy the tea picked from the ancient tea trees. There is no relatively big supermarket in Xiaowan, people in Xiaowan Town usually go shopping in the county seat of Fengqing.
