1.Ethnic Groups in Zhanyi District of Qujing

Zhanyi district is a unified multi-ethnic county inhabited mainly by the Han nationality. All the industrious and intelligent ethnic groups have lived together in harmony. Many ethnic groups live here hamoniously in Zhanyi, they're Yi, Bai, Dai, Zhuang, Miao, Hui, Lisu, Lahu, Wa, Naxi, Yao, Zang, Jingpo, Bulang, Buyi, Achang, Hani, Xibo, Pumi, Menggu, Nu, Jinuo, Deang, Shui, Man, Dulong, etc.

2. Traditional Ethnic Villages

There are 2 traditional ethnic villages, which are Songlin Village of Huashan Subdistrict Office in Zhanyi District, Qujing(曲靖市沾益区花山街道松林村) and Dacun Village of Dapo Town in Zhanyi County, Qujing(曲靖市沾益县大坡乡河尾村委会大村).

3. Ethnic Festivals

Festivals are a major feature of ethnic minorities. In Zhanyi District, every ethnic groups celebrates their own festival, such as the Dance Flower Festival and Torch Festival.
