It was extensively expanded in 1990 and currently features a single-eave gable and hip roof style with a building area of 320 square meters. The mosque covers an area of approximately 4 acres, with a total construction area of 1,088 square meters.

Historical Evolution

The exact founding date of Xiaxilianhua Mosque is uncertain. It was demolished in the eleventh year of the Tongzhi Emperor’s reign (1872) and rebuilt in 1925. Further expansions were undertaken in 1990.

Xiaxilianhua Mosque is designed in a single-eave gable and hip roof style, with additional wooden structures for classrooms and dormitories used by religious teachers and students (Imams and Maulanas).
