🌟 Hello everyone! I recently spent a day in Yongren and had an amazing time! From the spectacular Wangjiang Ridge to the misty Xianren Valley and the Yi-style Zhugeying Village, the day was full of diverse experiences. Here’s my travel route and some tips, hoping it’ll be helpful to you!
Recommended Route: Wangjiang Ridge → Flower Sea → Jingde Temple → Xianren Valley → Zhugeying Village
🌅 Wangjiang Ridge: We set off at 8 AM to the Fangshan Scenic Area. Tickets are 20 yuan and parking is 10 yuan (cash or digital payment). We entered from the right side of the entrance. The first stop was Wangjiang Ridge, at the foothills of Fangshan Mountain, offering an excellent view of three rivers (Jinsha River, Sanjiang River) and two provinces (Sichuan and Yunnan). The panorama was breathtaking, perfect for photography 📸!
🌸 Flower Sea: Afterward, we walked to the Flower Sea, filled with beautiful camps and fields. It’s an excellent spot for photos. The area has a one-way loop, so driving requires extra caution due to steep hills and curves.
🏯 Jingde Temple: At about 10 AM, we arrived at Jingde Temple, located at the peak of Fangshan. Built in 1316, the temple is vast and tranquil, offering a great place for spiritual reflection and enjoying nature’s beauty.
🏞️ Xianren Valley: By 12 PM, we visited Xianren Valley, known for its cool, circular “Xianren Well.” It’s a perfect spot for photos with its serene beauty.
🏡 Zhugeying Village: Our last stop was Zhugeying Village, known for its ethnic Yi culture. We enjoyed a delicious meal of local dishes like banana-stewed ham, wild mushrooms, and mutton soup at Hechang Yuan, a local guesthouse.
