Company Profile

Chuxiong Cigarette Factory, a subsidiary of Hongta Group, was established in 1974. In July 1998, it formed a parent-subsidiary relationship with Hongta Group, and in September 2004, it achieved integrated integration with the group headquarters. Chuxiong boasts a unique climate and soil, resulting in tobacco leaves known nationwide for their maturity, loose structure, and rich color. Over the years, Chuxiong Prefecture has actively promoted the construction of tobacco bases, stabilizing the annual output of high-quality tobacco leaves at around 1 million dan. Besides being popular domestically, its products are exported to 16 countries in Europe and America, earning the reputation of the most reliable “Southern Tobacco Leaves” among international tobacco merchants. Chuxiong Cigarette Factory, under Hongta Group, possesses fixed assets exceeding 2 billion yuan and total assets of 6.56 billion yuan. It obtained ISO9002 quality system certification in April 1999, completed the conversion to ISO9001 and 2000 standards in 2001, and achieved certification in April 2002, marking the standardization of its quality management.

Presently, Chuxiong Cigarette Factory has imported a leaf stripping and re-drying production line from countries such as the UK, the US, Germany, and Japan, along with two cigarette production lines, and one tobacco expansion production line. Additionally, it possesses over 70 sets of equipment for forming, mouthpiece launching, rolling and packaging, and physical and chemical analysis and testing instruments. With a leaf stripping and re-drying production capacity exceeding 10,000 kilograms per hour, it achieves an annual cigarette production and sales volume of 550,000 boxes, implementing full-process information management for production, logistics, and management.

In November 2017, Chuxiong Cigarette Factory of Hongta Group was honored with the title of “Fifth National Civilized Unit” by the Central Guidance Committee for Spiritual Civilization Construction.
