Daxiang Coffee Farm or Elephant Coffee Farm (大象咖啡庄园) is located Mengzhuzhai Village(勐主寨) of Puer City.
The Elephant Coffee Plantation is adjacent to the “Elephant Cafeteria,” nestled in lush surroundings that preserve a diverse ecological planting pattern. Jointly developed with Xianluli Elephant Coffee Plantation Co., Ltd., located in Liushun Town, it aims to create a boutique coffee estate integrating a coffee processing and exhibition area, a scenic restaurant for tasting, a courtyard for landscape study, a leisure area with a pool, a high-end business reception area, and a living experience zone harmonious for humans and elephants alike.
The Elephant Coffee Plantation is situated approximately 34 kilometers from the center of Pu’er City, in Nanbanghe Village, Mengzhuzhai, Cuiyun District. Covering an area of over 500 acres, it averages an altitude of 1,300 meters above sea level. The verdant plantation retains an ecologically diverse planting model, alternating between various fruit trees and coffee plants, fostering a symbiotic plant community that mutually enhances growth and ensures quality.
Deep within the forests of Mengzhuzhai naturally formed ponds with a certain nitrate content, an environment beloved by elephants, led to a herd migrating here and settling nearby, hence the name “Elephant Coffee Plantation.” The unique soil and water environment endows the plantation with a solid foundation for high-quality coffee. Optimal temperature differentials and abundant nutrient conditions contribute to outstanding sweetness in the coffee berries, with the highest sweetness testing reaching 28. Due to our diverse processing techniques and excellent coffee quality, we received the Yunnan Coffee Green Bean Competition in 2019: the Coffee Plantation All-Rounder Award and an Excellent Coffee Plantation Rating.
