Jianchuan County Transportation

Jianchuan County(剑川县; pinyin: Jiànchuān Xiàn) is a county in the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture located in western Yunnan Province. It covers an area of 2250 square kilometers and about 126 kilometers away from Dali City and 464 kilometers away from Kunming. In Jianchuan, transportations is very convenient. There are long-distance bus and taxi. 

How to Get in

By Car

Travel to Jianchaun by car is 464 km in distance, you need  5 houes from Kunming to Jianchuan.

By Pubic Transportation

By Long-distance Bus 

Travel to Jianchaun by Pubic Transportation,  you need to go to the West Bus  Station to take bus. The buses  start at 9:30 am and 19:00 pm. It costs your 5.5 hours.

By Airplane and Bus

If you want to take plane, you need to go to Kunming Changshui International Airport to take airplane to Dali Airport.It will costs your 55 minute. When you arrive at  Dali Airport, you need to take bus to Jianchuan County Passenger Station and it need 1 hour.

By Train  and Bus

If you want to take a trian, firstly, you need to go to Kunming Train Station. Secondly, you should spend 8 hours takingg the train. When you arrive at  Dali Train Station, you need to take bus to Jianchuan County Passenger Station and it need 1 hour.

By High-speed Train and Bus

If you want to take a high-speed train, firstly, you need to go to Kunming South Railway Station. Secondly, you should spend 2.5 hours on the road. When you arrive at  Dali Station, you need to take bus to Jianchuan County Passenger Station and it need 1 hour.

How to Get Arround

 By Taxi

For people who want to get to their destination as quickly as possible, taxis are wise choice. Generally, the starting fare is CNY8, and CNY1.4 will be charged for each kilometer.

By Bus and Minibus

The fare for public buses is RMB1 throughout Jianchuan county. But if you want to get to different village, you can choose minibus.
