1. Honey Peach
In the 1970s, Kaiyuan honey peach was introduced from outside of the province and changed the common form of peach. Its characteristics are green color, curved mouth, crisp and sweet taste, containing protein, fructose and a variety of micro elements, minerals, especially iron content is high, which is 4-6 times that of apple or pear. Kaiyuan honey peach planting area is more than 20,000 acres, the annual output value reaches more than 40 million yuan. Products are exported to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guiyang, Kunming and other cities.
2. Dongshan plum东山李
"Dongshan plum" is one of the best plum varieties in Kaiyuan city. It is popular with consumers for its big fruit, ruddy color, moderate sweet and sour taste and crisp quality. Zhongheying Town is the place of origin of the famous "Dongshan plum". Fruit traders from Hekou and other places bought the "Dongshan plum" and sold it to Vietnam, which is popular with the Vietnamese and tends to be in short supply.
3. Winter Peach
Chinese winter peach is a science and technology promotion project of Yunnan province in Kaiyuan. It is named winter peach after the flowering in spring and the ripening in early winter. The fruit is sweet and crisp, and is rich in protein, fructose, fruit acid, a variety of vitamins, calcium, phosphorus, iron and other nutrients. Ripening time is at the end of October.
4. Kaiyuan Sweet Scallion开远甜藠头
It has been a history of more than hundred years. It is made of the excellent scallion cultivated in mountainous areas, highlighting the characteristics of pickles sour, sweet and spicy. Kaiyuan sweet scallion is golden and bright in color, sweet and spicy taste, soft, tender and crisp texture, and has the effect of strengthening spleen and appetizing.
