Since 2012, leveraging the opportunity provided by the construction of the Ethnic Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone, the local enterprise Dechang Mining Co., Ltd. in Madougou has adopted a “company-led village” approach. The entire village actively contributed labor and resources, resulting in the completion of road paving into the village, the construction of activity venues, the establishment of a water reservoir with scenic features, and the building of standardized agricultural greenhouses. These developments have laid a solid foundation for the enterprise’s transformation and the growth of Madougou.

In 2016, with financial and project support from various departments, Madougou Village and the enterprise jointly invested 20 million yuan to establish the “Madougou Ethnic Bull-fighting Culture Garden.” The park hosts the “Ten Thousand People Torch Festival,” which attracts people from the county and surrounding areas to participate in the festive activities, thereby enhancing the reputation of Madougou’s rural tourism brand. This integration into the county’s suburban economic zone has promoted the development of the village’s collective economy.
