Menggu Paragliding Flight Camp (蒙姑滑翔伞基地) is located in Menggu Town (蒙姑镇), at the southernmost tip of Qiaojia County (巧家县), Zhaotong City (昭通市), Yunnan Province (云南省). The camp is a paradise for paragliding enthusiasts, thanks to the stunning Jinsha River (金沙江) and beautiful mountain landscapes. Since the completion of the Baihetan Hydroelectric Power Station (白鹤滩水电站), the area has been transformed into a spectacular sight of “high gorges and peaceful lakes,” with towering mountains and flowing rivers creating an ideal environment for flying.

Project Facilities

The first phase of the Menggu Paragliding Flight Camp (蒙姑滑翔伞基地) project includes the construction of the takeoff site and supporting facilities, which have been completed. The landing area is 90% complete, with a flight height of 1,280 meters, ranking among the top five in the country, and is suitable for year-round flying conditions. The second and third phases of the project will focus on water sports, such as jet skiing, water surfing, and motocross, as well as mountain sports, providing a comprehensive adventure experience.
