Shangri-La Ski Resort (香格里拉滑雪场) is located in Hala Village (哈拉村), Nixi Township (尼西乡), 20 kilometers northwest of Shangri-La County (香格里拉县), Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (迪庆藏族自治州), Yunnan Province (云南省). The total area of the ski resort covers approximately 40 square kilometers.

Shangri-La Ski Resort (香格里拉滑雪场), situated in Hala Village (哈拉村), Nixi Township (尼西乡), 20 kilometers northwest of Shangri-La County (香格里拉县), spans a total area of about 40 square kilometers. The resort’s master plan was designed by a professional Korean company with extensive experience in ski resort planning and design. The construction of the resort is divided into four phases. The total ski trail area covers 1.18 million square meters, featuring 12 ski runs for beginners, intermediate, and advanced skiers, one sledding area, and ten aerial cableways accommodating 4-8 passengers each.
Once completed, Shangri-La Ski Resort (香格里拉滑雪场) will be the southernmost ski resort in China, boasting a breathtaking natural environment that integrates both natural and artificial snow. It will become the country’s largest ski entertainment and sightseeing base, offering the most comprehensive facilities.
The first phase of construction is nearly complete, with the initial ski area covering 22.7 hectares. The ski equipment hall, designed with strong Tibetan cultural elements, covers an area of 6,000 square meters. Additionally, the resort features elegant Chinese and Western restaurants, as well as a café. Shangri-La Ski Resort (香格里拉滑雪场) employs an advanced electronic payment system and a fair pricing model, ensuring skiers a unique and customer-friendly experience.
