01 Mopanshan National Forest Park Camping Site (玉溪市新平县磨盘山国家森林公园)

Mopanshan National Forest Park is located in the southeast of Xinping Yi and Dai Autonomous County. It is 20 kilometers from the county town of Xinping. It is named after its mountain shape resembling a millstone. Mopanshan is the closest mid-mountain semi-humid evergreen broad-leaved forest and secondary primitive forest area to Kunming. Its live tree volume is 443,059.2 cubic meters, with a forest coverage rate of 64.2% and a shrub coverage of 83.4%, covering a total area of 242 square kilometers. The park has abundant plant resources with 98 families, 137 genera, and 324 species of higher plants. Mopanshan exhibits vertical distribution of plants with elevation, making it valuable for scientific research, teaching, and ecological tourism development.

Junzi Mountain, with its highest peak at 2409.7 meters, is a mountainous scenic area integrating forest and karst natural landscapes. It boasts four superlatives: Yunnan’s largest azalea natural community, Yunnan’s largest original ecological camping site, China’s most Nordic scenery, a replica of ancient Roman squares, and relics of ancient Greek civilization, and the world’s highest simulated mushroom architectural group. It features six gardens: natural gardens, botanical gardens, zoos, wild fruit gardens, wild mushroom gardens, and natural strange stone gardens. It also presents nine scenic spots: Millennium Rhododendron, Zuired Ling, Black Pine Forest, Abandoned Ancient Ruins, Macaque Lake, Junzi Peak, Rare Forest, Wanhuatang, and Mushroom Ridge.

Nansha River Fun Drifting Resort Area is located next to Manlong Le Dai Village, 7 kilometers east of Mengla County Town in Xishuangbanna, and is a 75 million yuan investment by Mengla County Hippo Tourism Development Co., Ltd. It is primarily focused on fun, experience-oriented, and stimulating water sports and outdoor sports projects. There are dense bamboo forests along the riverbank, charming riverside restaurants, riverside bars, teahouses, large swimming pools, distinctive Dai-style barbecue, Dai-style restaurants.
Nansha River belongs to the Lancang River system, originating from Xiangguntang on the Sino-Lao border, formed by 12 tributaries. In Dai, it means the river of tea water. According to folklore, when Sakyamuni came here to preach, he saw the dam dry and created a river by splashing tea water from a bowl, hence the name.
05 Kangteng Lijiang Gladan Tent Campsite康藤·丽江格拉丹帐篷营地
