Tourist Attractions Map of Deqin County in Diqing

Deqin County is located in the northwestern part of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It lies in the Hengduan Mountains area of northwestern Yunnan, at the southern edge of the Tibetan Plateau and at the junction of Yunnan, Sichuan, and Tibet. The county spans from 98°3’56″ to 99°32’20″ east longitude and from 27°33’44″ to 29°15’2″ north latitude. To the southwest, it borders Weixi Lisu Autonomous County and Gongshan Derung and Nu Autonomous County in Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture. To the northwest, it is connected to Mangkang County and Zogang County in Changdu City, and Zayü County in Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region. To the southeast, it faces Batang County and Derong County in Sichuan Province and Shangri-La City in Yunnan Province across the Jinsha River. The total area of the county is 8,364 square kilometers.
