1.Festivals of Luquan County：

● Flower Mountain Festival

"Flower Mountain Festival", also known as "Flower Mountain" and "Playing Flower Mountain," means "gathering, reunion, gathering on the mountains". It is a traditional festival for the Miao people. It has a history of more than 2000 years. Smooth weather and old age mutual blessing grand gathering, is Miao young men and women looking for confidant Miao "Valentine's Day." After the establishment of Luquan Yi Miao Autonomous County on November 25, 1985, the autonomous regulations stipulated that the fifth day of the fifth lunar month (Dragon Boat Festival) was the traditional festival of Miao nationality-Huashan Festival.

● The Torch Festival

The Torch Festival is a traditional festival for the Yi people to celebrade New Year, it’s also known as the "Star Festival." It begins on The lunar calendar June 24 and generally lasts for three to four days. People would held torches dance around a bonfire,and sing traditional songs .
