Lijiang Subdistrict of Yuanjiang County, Yuxi

Li Jiang Sub-district (澧江街道) is located in Yuanjiang Hani, Yi and Dai Autonomous County (元江哈尼族彝族傣族自治县), Yuxi City (玉溪市), Yunnan Province. It is the political, economic, cultural, and transportation center of Yuanjiang County. Established in August 2011 through the administrative area adjustment from the former Li Jiang Town, the sub-district is situated in the middle and southern part of Yuanjiang County. It borders Wa Die Township (洼垤乡) and Honghe County (红河县) to the southeast, Longtan Township (龙潭乡), Honghe Sub-district (红河街道), and Gan Zhuang Sub-district (甘庄街道) to the northeast. It neighbors Yangjie Township (羊街乡) and Nuo Township (那诺乡) to the south and is adjacent to Yuan Town (因远镇) to the southwest.

Li Jiang Sub-district is located between 101°54′ east longitude and 102°15′ east longitude, and between 23°24′ north latitude and 23°40′ north latitude. It has a north-south length of 36.2 kilometers, an east-west width of 16 kilometers, and a total land area of 263.9 square kilometers.

Li Jiang Sub-district is rich in natural resources and enjoys a mild climate. The main agricultural products include yam gourd (芋瓠), white radish (白萝卜), corn tips (玉米尖), and Chinese cabbage (大白菜). In addition to agriculture, the sub-district is home to several enterprises such as Yuanjiang Pin Yuan Trade Co., Ltd. (元江县品元商贸有限公司) and Yunnan Liangqin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (云南良沁电子科技有限公司), which are involved in the wholesale of agricultural products and information technology services.
