Location and Introduction
Lvzhijiang Paragliding Base (绿汁江飞行营地) is located in Lvzhi Town (绿汁镇), in the southwestern part of Yimen County (易门县), Yuxi City (玉溪市), Yunnan Province (云南省). It is approximately 40 kilometers from Yimen County and 120 kilometers from Kunming, the provincial capital. The area is bordered by Chuxiong (楚雄) and Lufeng (禄丰).
In addition to the spectacular Lvzhijiang Canyon (绿汁江峡谷) scenery, the region boasts unique industrial heritage. The surrounding area features old residential buildings, department stores, and other structures that have retained their original appearance, evoking the once-bustling atmosphere of the area. The take-off site at the base is approximately 2,000 meters above sea level. The natural elevation difference between the take-off and landing zones is about 1,000 meters.
