Puer Villages (普洱民居) are located in Xinjian Village (新勐村) of Jinping County (金平县), nestled among three settlements known as Upper Village (上寨), Middle Village (中寨), and Lower Village (下寨). The inhabitants are predominantly of the Dai ethnic group (傣族), and the architecture reflects traditional stilted bamboo and wooden structures typical of the region. Both Middle and Lower Villages feature purely bamboo and wood-constructed temples.

In Upper Village (上寨), there is a natural hot spring (温泉) conveniently located next to the village.
