You have three ways to get in Jinping County, long-distance bus, train and airplane.
1. By Long-distance Bus

2. By Train
There is no railway station in Jinping County, you can't reach to Jinping County directly by train. If you want to take train, you are suggested to transfer in Mengzi City.
Kunming-Mengzi-Jinping County
You will spend about 4 hours on the train from Kunming to Mengzi, then around 2 hours from Mengzi bus terminal to Jinping bus terminal.
3. By Air
At present, there is no airport in Jinping County, you can't go to Jinping County by plane. Mengzi airport, Mile airport and Yuanyang airport in Hong Prefecture are under plan and construction. Jinping County is close to Wenshan Airport, it takes about 50 minutes from Kunming Airport to Wenshan Airport, then 3 hours and a half from Wenshan to jinping County.

1. Taxi
Taxi is always the most convenient vehicle to get around a place.
2. Bus
In the county, buses run on the main street, it will not take you much time on the bus, because the county area is not too big. Otherwise, there are regular buses between some town, townships and some villages in Jinping County, convenient and cheap.
3. Minibus
Minibus is another way for local people to travel a short distance. Passengers may wait for a minibus on the highway or just call the driver. Usually, the minibus will take you anywhere you want to go in a short distance, and the price is cheap.
