Day 1 Arrive in Kunming
Sightseeing and Activities: Arrive in Kunming, the Green Lake
Accommodation: Kunming

Upon arrival at the Kunming airport/train station, your local tour guide and driver will meet you in the arrival hall and escort you to your hotel. You’ll begin your journey to the diverse and captivating province from the capital city, Kunming.
After a short rest, stroll in the most picturesque park in Kunming urban area – the Green Lake Park, a charming area of tea houses and small boutiques selling handicrafts and beautiful local paintings. Here you can share the happiness of local people’s doing tai chi, performing local opera, and other vibrant activities. If you visit the park in November or December, you will see a huge flock of red-beaked seagulls that migrate there from Siberia.
Day 2 Kunming-Shadian
Sightseeing and Activities: Stone Forest
Accommodation: Shadian
Meals: Breakfast and lunch
After breakfast, you will visit Stone Forest, An old local saying says that ‘If you have visited Kunming without seeing the Stone Forest, you have wasted your time.’ Truly, the Stone Forest is one of the most important attractions of Yunnan. Stone Forest is known as the ‘First Wonder of the World’. You’ll marvel at its natural stone masterpieces and be bewitched by the intricate formations.
You will head to Shadian and stay overnight at Sailiaomu Hotel in Shadian.
Day 3 Shadian-Yuanyang
Sightseeing and Activities: Great Mosque of Shadian, the sunset view of Laohuzui Rice Terraces

After breakfast, you will visit the Great Mosque of Shadian and pray there. Then you will communicate with Zhenxin Group. There is a Muslim Accessories shop beside the mosque, you can have some food or do shopping there. Shadian Grand Mosque is the largest mosque in the southwest of China, and is one of the 100 famous mosques in China. Shadian mosque exhibits an elegant architectural style.
You will go to Yuanyang (About 2 hours). Enjoy the sunset view of Laohuzui Rice Terraces.
Day 4 Yuanyang
Sightseeing and Activities: Doyishu Village, Qingkou Village, Bada Hani Rice Terrace, Shengcun Market
Accommodation: Yuanyang
Meals: Breakfast and lunch
Get up every early in the morning, visit Doyishu Village and enjoy the sunrise of Duoyishu Rice Terrace Fields when the sun appears above the eastern horizon. The terraced fields are ring upon ring and cascade one by one. They go along the hillside up to the sky. You will see the scenery of the terraced fields from the top of the mountains to the bottom. The landscape is spectacular.
And then, you will visit Qingkou Village and rice terraces where Hani people inhabit for generations. Visit Bada Hani Rice Terrace, Shengcun Market as well. You will also enjoy the sunset of Laohuzui Rice Terraces.
Day 5 Yuanyang-Jianshui
Sightseeing and Activities: Tuanshan Village, the Garden of Family Zhang, Double Dragon Bridge, Jianshui Old Town and the Chaoyang Gateway
Accommodation: Jianshui
Meals: Breakfast and lunch
Drive to Jianshui in the morning, enjoy the tropical climate along the Honghe River Valley.
After arriving in Jianshui, you’ll visit Tuanshan Village and the Garden of Family Zhang; Tuanshan Village is a rare surviving example of an intact-albeit Yunnan village with walls in southwestern China, and it has been added to the 2005 list of internationally significant sites by the World Memorial Fund for Architecture (WMF), an international fund for the protection of world heritage sites. On the way, have a stop to take picture at Double Dragon Bridge.
Stroll in the Jianshui Old Town and the Chaoyang Gateway, which was built in Ming Dynasty (1389). It is also known as ‘Miniature of Tian’an men’ because the its shape is similar to Tian’anmen Square in Beijing.
Day 6 Jianshui-Kunming
Sightseeing and Activities: the Garden of Family Zhu, Confucius temple, Nanpping Street, Kunming Nancheng Mosque
Accommodation: Kunming
Meals: Breakfast and lunch
In the morning, Visit a typical southern private garden – the Garden of Family Zhu. visit the Confucius Temple, which has a history of 700 years. It is the second largest Confucius Temple in China.
Then on the way back Kunming, stop for Xingmeng Mongolian Village in Tonghai County. Arrive at Kunming, drop off at shopping area – Nanping Business Street and visit Nancheng Mosque.
Day 7 Departure from Kunming
