The Water-Splashing Festival, New Years Day by Dai calendar, will be celebrated in the Jinghong City Proper between April 12 and 18. The grandest festival of the Dai is usually held along with activities such as dragon-boat racing, sending off skyrockets, and throwing love pouches. It is believed that everyone being splashed at will have good luck. Besides, we will trek and bike in tropical forests of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Region.

Day 1 Arrival Jinghong By air( April 12th)

Arrive Jinghong, transfer to hotel in Jinghong.
Day 2 Jinghong(April 13th)
Sightseeing and Activities:Traditional Parade, Dragon Boat Race
Accommodation: Jinghong
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Watch the Traditional Parade of the local people. In the afternoon, transfer to Lancang River to see the competition of the Dragon Boat.
Day 3 Jinghong( April 14th)
Sightseeing and Activities:Dai festival celebration

All day participate in the Dai festival celebration in Jinghong, savour the diverse food of Dai people and the celebration show.
Day 4 Jinghong(Apirl 15th)

Day 5 Jinghong – Damenglong – Jinghong(April 16th)

Biking excursion to Damenglong. Enjoy the ethnic houses and bucolic landscapes along the way up there. Take a visit of White Pagoda in Damenglong to appreciate Tibetan buddhism and enjoy traditional BBQ.
Day 6 Jinghong-Nannuoshan-Jinghong Departure(April 17th)

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Transfer to Nannuoshan Aini Ethnic Village. Start trekking the different ethnic villages along the tropical rain forest, ancient tea Garden, indulge yourself into the mysterious ethnic culture. Visit the local people and transfer to Jinghong in the afternoon. Transfer to airport for your departure flight. Service ends.
