Kunming – Baihualing Transportation: By Flight, Train & Bus

The Baihualing Scenic Spot, located at 25°42′44.45″N and 98°52′13.80″E, is the first bird watching camp developed in Gaoligongshan Mountain. It is known as “the Golden Triangle of China bird watching Zone” and “the five-star holy land”in bird photographers’ hearts, which is 35 kilometers from Mangkuan Township, Longyang District, Baoshan. Generally tourists first get to Baoshan and then transfer to Baihualing. Here we introduce you the transportation between Kunming and Baihualing.

How to Get to Baihualing from Kunming?

By Flight

Baoshan Yunrui Airport is situated at the southern part of Baoshan and is 9 kilometers from the downtown of Longyang District, Baoshan City. There are non-stop flights connecting Kunming and Baoshan. At present, about 10 scheduled flights from Kunming are available every day. After Baoshan Airport arrival, tourists needs to transfer to Baihualing by bus or taxi. Or contact with the guesthouse owner of Baihualing which you booked for your stay to pick you up at the airport.

By Bus

There are two Passenger Transport Bus Stations in Baoshan, which are the South Passenger Transport Bus Station and the North Passenger Transport Bus Station. Tourists can take bus to Baoshan first and change the bus to Mangkuan Township at Baoshan South Passenger Transport Bus Station. From Kunming, there are about 16 buses running to Baoshan. The journey takes about 7 hours at the cost of CNY 150-247.
