Ethnic Groups
As of 2012, there are 10 ethnic groups living in Guangnan County. The major ethnic groups are Zhuang, Miao, Yi and Yao, accounting for 42.56%, 11.78%, 4.82% and 2.15% respectively. Other ethnic minorities cover Muslim, Mongolian, Dai and Buyi etc. The ethnic groups also include some branches, such as Bailuo and Heiluo of Yi.
