Weixin county(威信县) is rich in natural resources. You can find many kinds of local specialties in the local market. Usually, in each town, the markets are opened three days a time, and in the county seat, markets are opened everyday. Weixin Cured Pork(威信腊肉)
Weixin Cured Pork is usually marinated in the twelveth month of the lunar calendar, so it is called "bacon”. When the bacon was cured, boiled it and cut it into pieces, which will be transparent and shiny, bright color, yellow and red, and taste delicious, and the unique flavor becomes a favorite dish of Weixin people.
Wild kiwifruit(野生猕猴桃)
Wild kiwifruit grows in a pure wild environment. Because it does not use any swelling agents, fertilizers, pesticides, and it is much smaller than artificially grown kiwifruit. It is truly pure natural green fruit.
