What to Notice

What to Visit 

Zhenkang county(镇康县) is located in the southwest border of Yunnan Province. There are 42 rivers and streams in Zhenkang County, among them the major river is Nanpeng river(南捧河). Unique geographical location and abundant water resources make Zhengkang enjoy rich tourist attractions, such as, Multinational cave(南伞跨国溶洞), Male and female falls(镇康雌雄瀑布), Nanpeng River Natural Reserve(南捧河自然保护区), Zhenkang Hot spring (镇康温泉) and Zhenkang Cave(镇康县溶洞).

When to visit

The climate in Zhenkang is warm and temperate. The annual average temperature in Zhenkang is 18.7 °C, average rainfall here is 1625.4 mm. In spring and winter, the temperature varies widely from day to night. Therefore, if you go to Zhenkang during these two seasons, you are supposed to take some warm clothes. Zhenkang is a county where tour is available all the year around. However, the best time to go there is from March to October. Because there are many festivals of ethnic Minority groups, and plenty of fruits and flowers during these months.
