Zhenxiong County Festivals and Events

Zhenxiong county(镇雄县) is abundant in all kinds of entertainment resources and facilities. Most of people in Zhenxiong are Han people, and Yi and Mao ethnic minorities are also the major groups living in Zhenxiong. There are several festivals and activities about them.

1.Torch Festival

Every lunar year, on June 24th, the Yi ethnic minority celebrate their national festival—the Torch Festival.

2.Dancing Flower Festival

During the festival, the Miao ethnic minority dressed up to gather in the traditional dancing ground. Young men and women danced in the center of the flower poles.

3.Teahouse

Local people always stay in the teahouses during their daytime, drinking a cup of tea, playing cards or mahjong. 

4.KTV

At night, KTV is the best choice , singing song in KTV helps you relax yourself entirely.

5.Bars and billiards club

Bars and billiards club are also good choices to kill time.
