Temples in Diqing
The religion of Diqing prefecture is mainly Tibetan Buddhism, and many religions and sects coexist. Tibetan Buddhism, Catholicism, Christianity, Islam, Dongba religion, Taoism and primitive religions live in harmony here, forming a mysterious and profound hall of religious culture. Therefore, there are many temples in Diqing including Guishan Monastery, Chengen Monastery, Baiji Monastery, Dongzhulin Monastery, Shouguo temple, etc. Among the numerous temples and monasteries, Songzanlin monastery is the most representative one.
