Zhuyuan Paragliding Flight Camp in Jinning, Kunming
Location and Overview
Zhuyuan Paragliding Flight Camp (竹园滑翔伞基地) is located at the entrance of Shuangshenggou Village (双深沟村), Jinning District (晋宁区), Kunming (昆明). To reach the camp, follow the blue directional signs for 200 meters from the village entrance.
- Geographical Location: 59 kilometers from Kunming city center (约1-hour drive)
- Elevation Difference: The takeoff and landing area has a vertical elevation difference of 220 meters, with a total drop of 350 meters.
- Wind Direction: Southwest wind, which is suitable for paragliding flights.
- Best Flight Season: From June to October, the conditions are ideal for flying.

- CJ23 Bus: Stop at Zhuyuan Village (竹园村站), walk 1.0 km to reach the camp.
Directions from Kunming City Center:
- From Kunming Changshui International Airport (长水国际机场):
- Take the Airport Center Station (机场中心站) and ride [Metro Line 6] to Juhua Station (菊华站).
- Transfer to [Metro Line 4] and get off at Dounan Station (斗南站).
- Then, take [Bus 250] to Chenggong Plaza Station (呈贡广场站).
- Change to [CJK3 Bus] and get off at Jincheng Town Station (晋城镇站).
- Finally, transfer to [CJ23 Bus] to Zhuyuan Village Station (竹园村站), and walk 1.0 km to the camp.
- From Kunming Railway Station (昆明站):
- Take [K12 Bus] to Guanjing Road Intersection (关景路口) station, then transfer to [CJK2 Bus] and get off at Jincheng Town Station (晋城镇站).
- Take [CJ23 Bus] to Zhuyuan Village Station (竹园村站), and walk 1.0 km to the camp.
- From Kunming South Railway Station (昆明南站):
- Take [K38 Bus] to Crown Plaza Hotel Station (皇冠假日酒店站), then transfer to [CJ22 Bus] to Xinjie Road Intersection (新街路口立) station.
- Transfer again to [CJ23 Bus] to Zhuyuan Village Station (竹园村站), and walk 1.0 km to reach the camp.
