Lvchun County(绿春县) is under the jurisdiction of Honghe Prefecture. Its original name is Liucun(六村). In 1958, when the county was founded, Zhou Enlai named it “Lvchun” according to the feature “green mountain and clear water, four seasons like spring”. Lvchun County is located in the south of Yunnan Province, the southwest of Honghe Prefecture, bordering Yuanyang County and Jinping County to the east, Honghe County to the north, Mojiang County to the northwest, Vietnam to southeast, and facing Jiangcheng County across the Lixian River(李仙江) in the southwest. It is 312 kilometers away from Hekou border port, 132 kilometers away from Jinshui River port, and provincial road S214 passes through Daxing town, the county seat of Lvchun County.
