Yiliang County is located in the central part of Yunnan Province. Yiliang county is adjacent to Luliang County and Shilin County in the east, Mile County and Huaning County in the south, Chengjiang county, Chenggong county and Guandu District in the west, and Songming County and Malong county in the north. Most of the areas in Yiliang County are between 1500-1800 meters above sea level. The topography is high in the north and low in the south. The climate belongs to the north subtropical monsoon climate, and the annual average temperature is 16.3 ℃.
