Former Residence of Zhou Baozhong in Dali City

The General Zhu Baozhong Memorial Museum (周保中将军纪念馆) is located in Wanqiao Village (湾桥村), Wanqiao Town (湾桥镇), Dali City (大理市), Yunnan Province (云南省). Originally the residence of General Zhu Baozhong (周保中), a key military leader in modern Chinese history, the museum commemorates his life and contributions. The original house was destroyed by fire in 1954, and a reconstruction was completed in 1994, covering 16.9 acres with various visitor-friendly features.

Life of General Zhu Baozhong

  • Northern Expedition: Achieved victories and was promoted to deputy division commander.
