Huangcaoling Town is located in the south of Yuanyang County, 102 kilometers from the county center, borders Jinping County and Laojizhai in the southeast, neighbors Pinghe Town of Lvchun County in the southwest, Ezha Town sits in its northwest and Huangmaoling Town lies in its northeast. The main inhabitants are Hani people and Yi people. The rerraces in the area is by the road and is out of charge. Although it’s free, the beauty is no less than terraces with fee and the view is broader and the air is so fresh. There is a viewing deck bewteen Duoyishu Rice Terraces and Pugao Laozhai Village where you can enjoy the sunrise and clouds sea.
