Introduction

Langhe Tea Factory(郎河茶厂) is located in Menghai County(勐海县), southwestern Yunnan Province and west of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture. Menghai County(勐海县) is located between 99 ° 56 ‘~ 100 ° 41’ east longitude, 21 ° 28 ‘~ 22 ° 28’ north latitude, and an altitude of 1000 ~ 1200 meters. It belongs to the tropical and subtropical southwest monsoon climate. The annual temperature difference is small, and the daily temperature difference is large. It is the hometown of “Pu’er Tea” which is famous both at home and abroad and the earliest birthplace for our domestic tea. It is a large-scale professional tea-making enterprise integrating organic, ecological, ancient tea gardens, planting, research and development.

History

Beginning

In 1995, Menghai Langhe Tea Factory(勐海郎河茶厂) was formally established and put into production.

In 2005, “Langhe” trademark was rated as a well-known trademark in Yunnan Province by the Administration for Industry and Commerce of Yunnan Province.

In 2006, Langhe Tea Factory(郎河茶厂) passed QS certification of Yunnan Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision; and it was rated as “State-level Environmentally Friendly Enterprise” by the State Environmental Protection Administration;

In 2008, “Langhe Pu’er”(郎河普洱) won the Chinese Tea Brand Excellence Award and Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture’s Puer Tea Gifts for Local Etiquette and Diplomacy;

Development

The assets of Langhe Tea Company(郎河茶业) are 150 million yuan, with more than 400 employees, covering an area of 80,000 square meters and a production workshop of 30,000 square meters. The Langhe Pu’er tea factory(郎河普洱茶厂) has been developed so far, with an annual production of 3,000 tons of Pu’er tea. It is one of the most professional Pu’er tea producers. It has worked with the Department of Tea Science of Yunnan Agricultural University to study the tea-making process and product development, especially to clean Pu’er tea. The research topic of chemical production is applied to actual production, and the effect is remarkable.

Brand Logo

In 2012, the corporate brand logo was re-optimized and upgraded from the traditional logo. The new logo font incorporates the shape of Chinese landscape images, expressing Langhe Pu’er’s idea of being in the beautiful environment of Xishuangbanna(西双版纳), Yunnan. The new version of the logo uses calligraphers’ handwritten fonts to emphasize exclusiveness and uniquity, showing the charm of the brand. The combination pattern of basic elements of a company’s brand includes basic elements such as logo, year, place of origin, logo, and English. By re-optimizing the design of the brand logo, the company has established a unified and unique brand image, showing a natural,deep,vibrant and fascinating personality.

Langhe Tea (郎河茶业) always takes the perspective of sustainable development as its development direction, and strives for healthy, rapid and sustainable development. Strict implementation of the source control, monitoring during production, post-natal testing, and storage inspections was fully implemented.  From raw material processing, acquisition to storage, the factory has established strict quality standards to ensure effective product quality. The factory has a stable sales channel and a sound marketing system, and its products are exported to the United States, Germany, Canada, Japan, South Korea and other countries, as well as Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
