It is located in Taoyuan Hui Ethnic Township (桃源回族乡), Ludian County (鲁甸县), Yunnan Province (云南省), perched on a small hill in the center of the Taoyuan Basin (桃源坝子), about 7.5 kilometers from the county seat.
