Shangri-la Moon Square is a small square at the foot of Guishan Park in Shangri-la Dukezong Ancient Town. It is the only way getting into the Dukezhong Ancient Town. Next to the square is the world's largest pray wheel.

Shangri-la Moon Square is a small square at the foot of Guishan Park in Dukezong Ancient Town. It is the only way getting into the Dukezhong Ancient Town. Next to the square is the world’s largest pray wheel. Climb to the top of Guishan Park and you can overlook the whole Dukezong Ancient City.
In the daytime, there are many barbecue stands, which are wreathed in smoke. In the evening, it becomes a place for local Tibetan people to enjoy and relax. The square is lined with Diqing Red Army Long March Museum and Diqing Museum. Besides, there are horses, yaks and Tibetan mastiffs for tourists taking pictures.
