Martin Mu English-speaking Tour Guide in Lijiang (Hiking Guide)
Hi , I am Martin Mu (Mu Shangxun/木尚勋 in Chinese), a native man of Naxi ethnic minority in Lijiang Northwest Yunnan. Working as an English-speaking hiking guide and driver for Yunnan Exploration Travel, I graduated Yunnan University,to be English teacher Countrside BaoShan Stone town. In 1998 gave up teacher to be tour guide work for Yunnan Exploration,like hikking,singing Naxi folk music.
In 2004 I walked along the Burmer road 959 Kms with American old man. I hiked 400 time through Tiger leaping gorge,BaoShan Stone Town to Lugu lake. Martin is described by clients as gentle,kind and intelligent,with an in_built ablity to know what clients need and enjoy before they know it themselves. He has a wealth of knowledge of his culture and local customs. Well travelled,many of Yunnan tour centre round the mountains and minority villages of his hometown and led by Martin.
