Summer are the best seasons to visit Bala Gezong Scenic Spot. 
• Napahai Lake
  Best Time to Visit: From June to November. With a total area of 31.25 square kilometers and an elevation of 3266 meters, the state-designated wetlands area Napahai Nature Reserve is located in Shangri-la city. The natural reserve is flat, surrounded by mountains. 
• Xiaozhongdian Pasture and Flower Sea:
  June to October is a nice season to see wild flower in Xiaozhongdian, Shangrila. You can also see Tibetan village, Yaks and other animals. if you are traveling by road in this season, you will not miss it.
