Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Kunming
Sightseeing and Activities: Nancheng Mosque, Flowers and Birds Market
Accommodation: Kunming
Meals: Lunch
Arrive at Kunming airport, meet your local guide, and transfer to check in your hotel. Then visit Nancheng Mosque and Flowers and Birds Market in the downtown.
Day 2 Kunming-Jinning-Kunming
Sightseeing and Activities: Mosques in Jinning, Wetland Park
Accommodation: Kunming
Meals: Breakfast and lunch
Drive to Jinning County. Visit the mosques in Jinning. Then drive back to Kunming. On the way, visit some wetland parks around Huanhu Road.
Day 3 Kunming-Stone Forest-Luliang-Shizong
Sightseeing and Activities: Stone Forest
Accommodation: Shizong
Meals: Breakfast and lunch
After breakfast, we’ll be driven 86 km to the renowned Stone Forest, the ‘First Wonder of the World’. You’ll marvel at its natural stone masterpieces and be bewitched by the intricate formations.
In the afternoon, drive to Luliang, visit some mosques. Finally, drive to Shizong for overnight.
Day 4 Shizong-Luoping
Sightseeing and Activities: Shizong Mashroom Mountain, Luositian, Rape Flowers
Accommodation: Luoping
Meals: Breakfast and lunch
This morning, visit Shizong Mashroom Mountain. Then drive to Luoping. Visit Luositian (Snail Farms). The fields here are of smaller scale. The rape flowers are growing in circular rings following the contours of the slopes and the fields look like the rings of a snail’s shell.
Day 5 Luoping
Sightseeing and Activities: Rape Flowers, Jiulong Waterfalls

Set out early in the morning to Jinjiling in time for sunrise photography. Jinjifeng(Golden Rooster Hill), the most famous spot for photographing rapeseed flowers. It offers an excellent and expansive view of the fields and hills. Lingyi Temple, located in the middle of the hill, offers a perfect platform for photographing the fields and sunset. Then transfer to Jiulong Pubu(Nine dragons waterfalls) to photograph the waterfalls. It is regarded as one of China’s biggest and most beautiful waterfalls. Firstly, take a cable car or climb up the hill to the platform overlooking the valley and the waterfalls and photograph the grand vista. Secondly, walk down the hill to the biggest waterfall (56 meters high and 112 meters wide) to photograph it up closely. Take a bamboo tour along the Duoyi River and see the Buyi ethnic village nearby.
Day 6 Luoping-Kunming Departure
Sightseeing and Activities: Luoping-Kunming Departure

Early in the morning, drive back to Kunming airport ( 4-5 hours ) for the departure flight in the late afternoon.
