Xi’an International Tea Expo
Xi’an International Tea Industry Expo (西安国际茶业博览会) is an annual event held in Xi’an, China, aimed at promoting tea culture, facilitating industry exchanges, and showcasing tea products from around the world. This expo brings together tea producers, distributors, enthusiasts, and researchers, serving as a significant platform for product display, industry trend discussions, and business exchanges.
Visitors to the Xi’an International Tea Industry Expo can taste a variety of renowned teas including Chinese green tea, black tea, oolong tea, and Pu’er tea, as well as teas from other countries. Activities include tea tasting sessions, seminars on tea production and brewing techniques, cultural performances related to tea, and exhibitions featuring tea-related products and innovative technologies.
The expo not only enhances Xi’an’s position as a hub for tea culture and business exchanges but also attracts participants from both domestic and international markets. Development History:
- The 17th Xi’an International Tea Industry Expo opened on June 2, 2023, at the Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Center (Chanba). With the theme “Boosting Tea Industry Development, Sharing Tea Life Celebration,” the expo lasted for 4 days until June 5. It was organized by the China Tea Circulation Association and Shaanxi Supply and Marketing Cooperative Union. Covering an exhibition area of 36,000 square meters with 1800 standard booths, it featured eight major exhibition areas including national supply and marketing tea zone, national famous tea zone, Shaanxi tea zone, Pu’er tea zone, white tea zone, tea utensil aesthetics zone, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and international zone, showcasing over 800 tea brands and 6000+ tea products across the entire industry chain.
- The 18th Xi’an International Tea Industry Expo opened on May 31, 2024, at the Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Center (Chanba), lasting 4 days until June 3. Co-organized by Shaanxi Tea Industry Association and Shenzhen Huajucheng International Exhibition Group Co., Ltd., and hosted by Xi’an Huajucheng Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., with cooperation from Shaanxi Poverty Alleviation Foundation and Shaanxi Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Agricultural Products. It gathered over 1000 tea brand exhibitors covering six major tea categories, tea foods, tea clothing, purple sand, ceramics, tea utensils, handicrafts, and the entire tea industry chain.
The 18th Xi’an International Tea Industry Expo aims to develop the tea industry, promote tea culture, and prosper the tea economy.

Currently, the Xi’an Tea Expo has attracted well-known tea companies such as Dayi, Feng Pai Dian Hong, Iceland Impression, Dian Nan Gu Yun, China Tea Ziyang, Hubei Tea Group, Dong Yu Ming Tea, Peng Xiang Tea, Weng Guangxi, Wuyi Xing Tai, Yuan Sheng Tai, Yun Gen White Tea, Tian Miao White Tea, Lao Pi Gan Pu, Hao Pi Cang, Jingwei Fu Tea, Arctic Palace, Hu Sheng Ji, and others. They will gather strong collaborative innovation efforts to add to the interaction and integration of the Northwest tea industry and empower the construction of a billion-dollar industry.
