Yangla Township (羊拉乡)is located in the northeastern part of Deqin County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It lies on the western bank of the Jinsha River, with the river forming a natural boundary with Sichuan Province to the east. The township is bordered by Banzilan Town to the south and Shengping Town to the southwest. It is also adjacent to the Tibet Autonomous Region to the northwest. The township covers an area of approximately 1144.85 square kilometers, with an average altitude of 3798 meters. History

Yangla Township has a rich history. In 1956, it was part of the sixth district of Weixi County. In 1959, it was transferred to Deqin County.
