Yingwei Village Mosque (营尾村清真寺) is located in Yingwei Village (营尾村), Yongjian Township (永建乡), Weishan County (巍山县), Yunnan Province (云南省). The mosque’s founding date is unknown. It has undergone three reconstructions, with the most recent expansion completed in 1977. The mosque occupies approximately 4 mu (亩).

Historical Development
The founding date of Yingwei Village Mosque is unknown. It was destroyed in the eleventh year of the Tongzhi reign (1872) and later rebuilt. It has undergone a total of three reconstructions, with the latest expansion taking place in 1977.
Scale and Structure
The mosque covers approximately 4 mu (亩) with a total built area of 1,426 square meters. The main prayer hall has a single-eaved hip roof and covers 530 square meters. There are several traditional wooden buildings on both sides of the courtyard, used as classrooms and dormitories. The mosque does not have a minaret.
Communication and Cooperation
The mosque serves more than 100 Hui (回族) Muslim households, with a total population of over 750. The community belongs to the Gedimu (格迪目) tradition and has produced 65 ahongs (阿訇).
Location and Transportation
The mosque is located in Yingwei Village (营尾村), in the central-western part of Yongjian Basin (永建坝子), Yongjian Township (永建乡), Weishan County (巍山县), Yunnan Province (云南省). The village name “Yingwei” (营尾) derives from its location below Yingtou Village (营头村), where a military camp was established during the Ming Dynasty. As it is also situated above a Han-populated area known as Yingwei Lower Village, it is also referred to as Yingwei Upper Village (营尾上村) or Hui Yingwei Village (回族营尾村).
