It is one of the Second Batch of China’s Traditional Villages, recognized for its cultural and historical significance. Situated at an elevation of 1,740 meters above sea level, the village enjoys a mild climate, with an average annual temperature of 16°C and an annual rainfall of 1,800 millimeters.

By Car

From Cangyuan County (沧源县), drive about 16 kilometers to Mengdong Town (勐董镇), following mainly gravel roads. It is advisable to use a 4×4 vehicle for the journey. Set the destination as “Mangbai Village Committee” (芒摆村委会) on your GPS.

Public Transport

There are currently no direct buses to Yongdian Village. Visitors can take a bus to Mengdong Town from Cangyuan County, which operates several times a day. From Mengdong Town, take a local vehicle or hike 7 kilometers to reach the village.
