Brief Introduction of Dali Huangcaoba Airport 

The former name Dali Huangcaoba Airport(大理荒草坝机场), now it is changed into Dali Fengyi Airport(大理凤仪机场) is an important feeder airport and tourist airport in Yunnan Province. The airport is 2155.4 meters above the sea level, belonging to plateau airport with complex original landform. Dali Airport is located on the southeast bank of Erhai Lake, there are mountains in the east, Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain in the west.

Dali Airport is a civil airport located in Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, 13 kilometers from Dali City(the capital of Dali Prefecture). It is the hub port of Lucky Airlines(祥鹏航空). The airport covers an area of 2525 mu(about 168 hectares), the airfield grade is 4C and the runway is 2600 meters long. Boeing 737, Airbus 320 and other types can take off and land here. Aerodrome area is of 19,550 square meters, terminal area of 10050 square meters, there are 10 aircraft stands.

Currently, there are more than 20 flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Shijiazhuang, Guangzhou, Xuzhou, Shenzhen, Kunming, Xishuangbanna, Chengdu, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Changsha, Nanjing, Nanchang, Nanning, Lanzhou, Luzhou, , Guiyang, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Xi’an and Wuhan, with more than 40 daily arrival and departure flights. Flights to Xiamen, Shenyang, Wenzhou, Qingdao, Dalian and Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei and other domestic, international and regional cities are also expected.

Airport Shuttle Bus

1. The airport bus from Cangshan Hotel leaves twice a day. The first departs at 7 AM and the second departs at 11:00 AM. Every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, one more airport bus is available and the extra airport bus leaves at 9 AM. The ticket price is 10 yuan.

2. The airport bus departing from Dali Airport also leaves twice a day. The departure time is 08:15 AM and 12:00 AM.

Taxi

There are taxis at the airport to Xiaguan and Dali. It costs 50 yuan from the airport to Xiaguan downtown, 90 yuan from the airport to Dali Ancient Town.
