Nanhua County (南华县) is located in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture. It is situated in the west part of Chuxiong. Nanhua County boeders Mouding County to the east,Chuxiong City to the southeast, Jingdong County to the south, Midu County to the west, Xiangyun County and Yao’an County to the north. It is 33 kilometers from Chuxiong City, 192kilometers from Kunming and 175 kilometers from Dali.

Wild Mushroom Culture: Nanhua County has more than 290 species of wild mushroom. Nanhua is known as “the Kingdom of Wild Mushroom”, “the Hometown of Chinese Wild Mushroom” and “Chinese Wild Mushroon Cate County”.
Minority Culture: Many ethnic groups are living in Nanhua. Each ethnic minority has their own unique festivals to celebrate such as Lantern Festival of Bai Ethnic Minority (白族灯会), Torch Festival of Yi Ethnic Minoritys(彝族火把节) and Sheepskin Drum Dance of Yi Ethnic Minority(彝族羊皮舞).
Miyilu Folk Culture: Miyilu is said to be the name of a brave and smart Yi lass in Nanhua where the Flower Arrangement Festival (Cha Hua Jie) is spent to honor her. Miyilu Folk Custom Valley is a must-see atrraction where shows Miyilu Folk Culture.
