Mile(弥勒) is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, it is located in the southeast of Yunnan Province and the north of Honghe Prefecture. Mile is the “North Gate” of Honghe prefecture, which reaches 316 kilometers to the national open port in the south. The transportation of the city extends in all directions, with Kunhe Highway running through the hinterland 93 kilometers, Yunnan-Vietnam Railway crossing 78 kilometers along the west border, and G80 Guangkun Express Highway and Nankun Passenger Transport Line passing through. The city is 78 kilometers from south to north, 50 kilometers from west to east, covering an area of 4004 square kilometers. In 2012, the gross production value of Mile was 20.105 billion. Mile is the hometown of highland grape, with a famous Chinese wine brand “Yunnan Red”. In June, 2017, Mile was named as national health city.
